Gulfton Management District selected a 3-story wall at The Alora Apartments for a large-scale mural, as an extension of the 2022 Big Walls Big Dreams mural festival. Artist Floyd Mendoza designed a striking floral motif (tulips, white ginger lily, calla lily, dahlia, and flor de izote) which is representative of the vibrant and diverse community of Gulfton. You can catch a peek of this mural, completed during the last week of February, from the Westpark Tollway.
