Thanks to a huge coalition of partners, we’ve completed the painting of 39 columns through our Crosstimbers & North Freeway I-45 Underpass Gateway Project. “Bringing color where it is least expected helps to improve the mood of the community and encourage engagement,” said Donna Espada, a Northline resident and vice president of Melrose Civic Club. UP Art Studio was pleased to bring together the Greater Northside Management District, American Planning Association, Design Workshop, TxDOT and many others to conceive and deliver this cheerful, safety-enhancing addition to the historic Northline and Independence Heights neighborhoods.
